My Influences:

Pink Floyd, Thomas Dolby, Devo, EBN-OZN, Oingo Boingo, Danny Elfman, Larry Fast, Rick Wakeman, Charles A. Brown. Caleb Fesco.

I don't really have any plans for my music - I just enjoy making it.  Awhile back someone requested that I put some music online, so I picked up Pro Tools and started recording.

I enjoy it - that's a good enough reason to make music.  And I've never met anyone who can claim that creating music has made their life worse...

I hope you enjoy my work.

Ned'sLatest

Ned Frankly is my musical alter-ego as well as my nom-du-web.  Ned is a band that consists of one permanent member and an unknown number of contributing members.

Through the years (50, at last count) I've collected some pretty obscure musical equipment.  Many instruments slipped through my hands, but I've managed to hold on to my favorites.  My Casio SK-1 has a place of honor beside my workstation, and a Kawai K3 is my main controller.

DrumCore

THIS is the drum program (RTAS) that non-drummers need.  The user interface is brilliant. Find a pattern you like, drag it onto your midi editor, and voila - drum track that sounds like a drummer, not a keyboard player with a TR909.
